The body of a man on parole was recovered Thursday from Arcade Creek in North Sacramento after his electronic monitoring device led authorities to the location, officials said.
Sacramento Fire Department crews pulled the man, believed to be in his 50s, from the water around 1:30 p.m. near Marysville Boulevard in the Hagginwood neighborhood, said Capt. Justin Sylvia, a department spokesman.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office was expected to confirm the man’s identity after notifying next of kin. His cause of death was not immediately known…
