Sacramento residents should expect challenging morning conditions today with “widespread dense fog, mainly before 8am,” followed by partly sunny skies and a high near 59 degrees with light north-northwest winds. Fog is expected to return overnight, especially between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., as clouds increase and temperatures fall to around 39 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
