The family behind Adamo’s Kitchen is doubling down on downtown. The father-and-daughter owners are spinning off a new spot, Dodici Pizzeria, at the corner of 12th and D streets in Sacramento’s Alkali Flats neighborhood, bringing their Midtown restaurant experience into a pocket of downtown that developers and retailers have been eyeing. Neighbors can expect a homegrown operation, not a national chain swooping into the corridor.
