(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento Mayor Kevin McCarty is pushing back against ICE, working with state lawmakers on legislation in the wake of another deadly Minnesota shooting.
McCarty, a former assemblymember, said Monday he is collaborating with state leaders on a bill that would give the California attorney general the authority to independently investigate incidents involving federal officers.
