Kaiser workers walk out across California

(FOX40.COM) — About 31,000 Kaiser Permanente health care workers went on strike Monday morning, including thousands in Northern California.

Union representatives said Kaiser management has failed to bargain in good faith. Leaders of the United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals, or UNAC/UHCP, said they want the health care company to address staffing shortages, workload standards and wages.
