‘We’re going to have a person killed’: State leaders discuss wolf conflict solutions in rural areas

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – State leaders are actively discussing strategies to prevent conflicts between people and wildlife, with a focus on wolves in rural communities. On Tuesday in Sacramento, the State Assembly Committee on Water Parks and Wildlife gathered input from ranchers, wildlife experts, advocates, and law enforcement to address the threat wolves pose to public safety.

District 3 Assemblyman James Gallagher highlighted the urgency of the situation.
