A man died last night after a tractor overturned and pinned him on private property in Orangevale, turning a routine evening of work into a fatal emergency. Crews responded shortly after 8 p.m. to the area near Oak and Mountain avenues, where they found the tractor operator trapped beneath the machine. The operator, who was the only person on the tractor, did not survive.
According to KCRA, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District confirmed the response, and the California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred on private property. CHP said the man was ejected when the John Deere tractor rolled, and the vehicle came to rest on top of him.
