ELK GROVE, Calif. — Amazon is set to close almost all of its Amazon Fresh stores on Feb. 1, with the exception of California.
There are 22 Amazon Fresh stores in California, with Northern California in particular having sites in Roseville, Elk Grove and Citrus Heights.
Some of the shuttered stores will be converted into Whole Foods locations, the Seattle company said in a blog post. It’s not clear what’s ahead for the Northern California stores…
