Signage goes up on new grocer in Sunrise Village

By Sara Beth Williams– — A new grocer remodeling one of the former Rite Aid buildings in Citrus Heights has officially hung its company name on the front facade of 5409 Sunrise Blvd., as it continues to progress toward an opening slated for the late spring of this year.

Grocery Outlet’s banner appeared on the front of the building last week as the parking lot, exterior, and interior, continue to undergo construction. A large portion of the parking lot is currently fenced off.

Mark Vieira with Tilton Pacific Construction confirmed in December that the new grocery store is anticipated to be ready to open in the late spring of 2026. Planned improvements include ADA upgrades, a new facade for the building, and more…
