A human trafficking call at a Vallejo hotel on the 400 block of Fairgrounds Drive ended in a rescue last Friday, according to police. Officers say they found an adult woman in a room with visible injuries, including bruising and other signs of battery, and took her to a local hospital for medical evaluation. Investigators report that she described being forced and threatened as part of sexual exploitation and said she had been moved across multiple cities and states. A man identified as Julius Stinson III was later located at a motel on the 1400 block of Enterprise Street and booked into the Solano County Jail on multiple felony counts.
The Vallejo Police Department said in a Facebook post that after removing the victim from the location, officers coordinated with the Integrated Health and Resource Team (IHART) and other support partners to relocate her and connect her with services. According to the department, the woman described being controlled through intimidation, physical violence, and threats of serious harm.
