Retail theft surveillance leads to firearm and drug arrest in Folsom

FOLSOM — An active surveillance operation targeting organized retail theft in Folsom led to the arrest of a Sacramento woman on multiple firearm and narcotics charges, according to a release issued this week by the Folsom Police Department.

Police said members of the department’s Special Investigations Unit were conducting surveillance on a known organized retail theft suspect linked to multiple thefts within the city when detectives recognized a second individual during the operation.
