A bomb threat called in to Mercy Hospital of Folsom on Saturday evening prompted a lockdown and a multi-agency response, but officers later determined the threat was not credible, authorities said.
The threat at the hospital in the 1600 block of Creekside Drive came as a phone call to the switchboard and was reported to the Folsom Police Department just before 7 p.m. Several officers were dispatched to the scene to search the facility, according to a department spokesperson.
