SACRAMENTO, Calif — Sacramento has activated its respite centers to help people escape from the rain for the week.
The two weather-respite centers will be opened at the Outreach and Engagement Center and the North 5th Street Navigation Center, according to city officials.
The OEC is located at 3615 Auburn Boulevard. It will be in operation through 8 a.m. Thursday. The center can accommodate up to 50 guests and welcomes pets. Storage is also available for people with belongings…
