Three arrested for catalytic converter thefts
A vehicle with three suspects entered the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 10000 block of Bruceville Rd on Feb. 8 around 2 AM. The suspects cut and stole two catalytic converters from two separate vehicles.
On Feb. 10, officers received a bulletin with photos of the suspect vehicle. The next night, officers spotted the same vehicle near Poppy Ridge and Bruceville Rd. They stopped the car and detained Johnson Ly (38), Shawn Vang (33), and John Moua (38). The suspects had just stolen another catalytic converter and were caught on camera. All three were arrested and booked at the Main Jail, later released on bail, and are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow…
