A South Sacramento home turned into the scene of a drug raid on Feb. 4, when officers serving a residential search warrant arrested three people and seized just over half a pound of methamphetamine, according to Sacramento police. Officers also reported finding about $500 in cash and 16 shotgun shells, and said two other people at the residence were discovered to have outstanding felony warrants. The department said the operation focused on suspected narcotics sales in the neighborhood.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the South Problem Oriented Policing (SPOP) team received information that a subject was selling narcotics in South Sacramento and launched a narcotic sales investigation. Investigators secured a residential search warrant and served it, locating the original subject inside the residence.

Inside the home, officers said they recovered just over a half pound of methamphetamine, 16 shotgun shells and a little more than $500 in cash. Two additional people at the scene were found to have outstanding felony warrants, according to police.

The Sacramento Police Department identified the three people arrested as 39-year-old Zachary Howell of Sacramento, 55-year-old Douglas Waddams of Sacramento and 55-year-old Lawrence Tillaman of Elk Grove.
