Man killed after being struck by two vehicles in East Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — A man was killed on Sunday night after being struck by two vehicles in East Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. when a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk. A short time later, a second vehicle also struck the pedestrian.

CHP reported that fire personnel pronounced the man dead at 8:44 p.m…
