Warm storm brings valley rain, high-elevation showers to Sierra Tuesday

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Weather conditions forecast for the Sacramento region on Tuesday call for off-and-on rain. But unlike the previous storm, we’re also looking at rain in the Sierra!

Following the coldest storm of the year last week that brought more than 9 feet of snow to parts of the Sierra, we’ve got the opposite storm coming in on Tuesday.

Very high snow levels throughout the duration of this storm. We’re talking about snow levels at 9000-10000 feet! We’re gonna have heavy rain at the high passes!
