ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) – At 11:33 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 the Elk Grove Police Department issued a notice on social media regarding police activity at the Marketplace 99 South near Bond Road and East Stockton Boulevard. According to the post, officers responded to a report of a shot fired in the parking lot of Raising Cane’s in the 9100 block of East Stockton Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they found one shell casing in the parking lot. Authorities said there were no reported injuries at the time the notice was released, and the investigation remains ongoing…
