(FOX40.COM) — Acorn Ridge Casino celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, marking a destination for entertainment, gaming and economic growth in the region and the Ione Band of Miwok Indians.
“Acorn Ridge Casino represents a significant milestone for the Ione Band of Miwok Indians as we work toward a more self-sustaining future. We are proud to have partnered with Moorefield Construction on the construction of this property. Their dedication and expertise made this incredible and beautiful project possible,” Sara Dutschke, chairwoman of the tribe, said.
