A for-hire DJ was charged Thursday with seven counts of felony forgery after authorities said he embezzled more than $80,000 from the Rancho Cordova Little League.
Joseph Eta, 45, known as DJ Fizz, was hired by the youth league to entertain guests at a “Monte Carlo Night” fundraiser April 26, 2025, at Rancho Cordova City Hall, according to Sgt. Ed Igoe, a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, which is contracted by the city for police services.
After being paid for the event, Eta allegedly used banking information associated with that transaction to steal about $82,000. Little League staff discovered and reported the theft to Rancho Cordova police in October, according to Igoe and a statement posted by the league on social media…
