SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Retired elementary teacher Joyce Hanson said she joined a protest in Sacramento against the war on Iran because she questions the reasoning behind the U.S.’s involvement and why leaders have not learned from history.
“We’re doing this again?” Hanson said. “Don’t they [lawmakers] learn from history? Iraq was a mess for the same reason. I mean, this is the same thing over and over again.”
