(FOX40.COM) — Hundreds of pink slips will soon be handed out across Sacramento City Unified School District, including to every member of the district’s central office.
The school board voted last week to eliminate every job in the SCUSD district office, adding another 300 potential layoffs to earlier job cuts approved earlier this year. However, the district said that not all of those layoffs will be finalized.
“All central employees from Superintendent on down will receive March 15 notice, but it is not the board’s intention to have central office staff of zero,” spokesperson Alexander Goldberg told FOX40 in an emailed statement…
