What started as a strange local nuisance has turned into a full-blown neighborhood headache in Old North Sacramento, where residents say flocks of free-roaming chickens have taken over the area around Boxwood Street and made daily life miserable.
In a video report for KCRA 3, reporter Peyton Headlee described a neighborhood where the birds are now so common that they seem to be around every corner. And even when people cannot see them, she said, they can definitely hear them.
