Standpipe failure causes flooding in downtown Sacramento apartments

(FOX40.COM) — A broken standpipe caused flooding in multiple apartment units Monday night in downtown Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Fire Department.

Fire officials said firefighters responded around 9:48 p.m. to the 700 block of Seventh Street after an alarm was reported at an apartment building.
