The Carson City Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Sacramento Police Department, arrested a wanted fugitive in Carson City on Thursday, March 11. The arrest was carried out by the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team near the 3300 block of South Carson Street, following the successful execution of an outstanding warrant.
The suspect, 18-year-old Jayden Tibbitts, was wanted in Sacramento on a range of serious charges, including possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle, carrying a loaded firearm, possessing a loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, and evading law enforcement through reckless driving.
