On Wednesday, March 11, West Sacramento Fire Department units responded to a structure fire at the Courtyard Village Apartments. Engine 41 arrived to find an upstairs apartment fully involved in flames. Crews deployed hose lines, performed vertical ventilation, and brought the fire under control.
All occupants exited safely before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported. Ten residents were displaced, and the Red Cross assisted them for the night. The Sacramento Fire Department provided additional support. The cause of the fire is under investigation…
