‘He deserves to be remembered’: Mother fights for memorial at site of son’s death

(FOX40.COM) — One mother is battling to keep her son’s memory alive after he was killed in a car crash in Folsom last year.

Melissa Grant and her loved ones hope to do so by putting up a plaque along East Natoma Street and Golf Links Drive in honor of Braiden David Flynn. However, the Empire Ranch Home Owners Association has continued to deny this request.

Grant has since relocated out of state, but she said Folsom was and always will be Flynn’s home. He was raised there and the community adored him…
