A Taiwanese bakery and café chain appears to be inching closer to opening its Roseville outpost.
New permits filed with the city indicate progress at the forthcoming 85°C Bakery Cafe, which has been in the works for more than a year. According to a previous report from the Sacramento Business Journal, the internationally recognized bakery signed a lease for roughly 3,000 square feet at 445 Roseville Square, Suite 100, in the expanding Roseville Square Shopping Center at the corner of Douglas Boulevard and Harding Boulevard.
Founded in Taiwan in 2003 by Cheng-Hsueh Wu, 85°C Bakery Cafe was built around a simple belief: gourmet pastries and high-quality coffee shouldn’t be reserved for luxury hotels or special occasions.
