Human trafficking enforcement along Stockton Blvd

The Sacramento Police Department, working with the Sacramento Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, carried out targeted enforcement operations during Human Trafficking Awareness Month in January along the Stockton Boulevard corridor. The task force included local, state, and federal partners such as the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office and the California Department of Justice, with advocacy support from Community Against Sexual Harm, the Family Justice Center, 3Strands Global Foundation, and My Sister’s House.

Over sixteen operational days, officers identified 9 traffickers, made 121 arrests, and recovered 41 victims who were connected with advocacy partners for support. The operation aimed to disrupt trafficking activity, hold offenders accountable, and enhance safety in the area.
