Three children ran from their California home and called 911 after allegedly witnessing their father assault their mother — before deputies arrived and found both parents dead inside.
In an Instagram post, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. Friday to a home on Edison Avenue in Sacramento for a domestic violence call. When they arrived, deputies breached the door and found an unresponsive adult woman and man, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
A juvenile caller told dispatchers that their father was assaulting their mother, and all three children fled the home before deputies arrived, the sheriff’s office said. The children were later found safe…
