By Sara Beth Williams– — A popular local bakery is moving from the Marketplace at Birdcage to a new suite down the street, just outside the border of Citrus Heights.
Sweet Haven Bakery, known for its unique creations of cookies, cupcakes, and cakes and vegan options, celebrated its last day open in the Marketplace at Birdcage in Citrus Heights on Saturday, March 28, the company posted on Instagram.
The bakery will be moving to a larger space, with plans to gradually construct a commercial-grade kitchen in the back of the space. Trina and Colin Claycomb, parents to their son Haven, who bakes all the creations for the bakery, said the shop plans to keep the front of the bakery similar in size, which will allow for some seating for customers…
