Man Hospitalized, Suspect Arrested After South Sacramento Shooting

​SOUTH SACRAMENTO (PSN) — A man was hospitalized and a suspect was arrested following a shooting late Sunday night in South Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers responded just before 10 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2026, to the 2400 block of Florin Road after receiving reports of gunfire, police said in a media release issued Monday morning by Officer Allison Smith.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and was later reported to be in stable condition…
