Sacramento Traffic Stop Explodes Into Gun Bust, Cash Haul and Drug Find

A routine North Patrol traffic stop in Sacramento on Saturday turned into anything but routine, as deputies say they uncovered a large cache of firearms, cash and suspected drugs. According to the sheriff’s office, the vehicle initially delayed pulling over and finally stopped inside an apartment complex, where the driver allegedly tried to run but was detained. Deputies later searched the car and served a search warrant at the driver’s home, turning up rifles, multiple handguns, a substantial amount of cash and suspected narcotics. The sheriff’s office laid out the details in a post on its official X account.
