After spending three months in jail, a 93-year-old Fremont man accused of killing his wife of nearly 60 years has been released to a Sacramento County senior living facility.
Richard Hocking is charged with murder and use of a firearm in the death of 86-year-old Patricia “Patty” Hocking on Jan. 3. Hocking allegedly turned himself in by calling 911 shortly after the shooting, and was held in Santa Rita Jail until Friday, according to court records.
