By Sara Beth Williams– — A national shoe store chain has plans to close its Sunrise Mall location, with its last day scheduled for Friday, April 24, store employees say.
Shoe Palace, recognizable by its iconic arched entrance into the small storefront, will remain open through Friday. Currently all merchandise in the store is 25 percent off and new merchandise is rotated in daily as other merchandise moves out.
Managers at the store told The Sentinel in March they were expecting to close this spring and said their merchandise would be relocated to other Shoe Palace locations. Staff also confirmed that they have secured positions at other Shoe Palace locations in the region…
