Nighttime Pickup Crash Kills ATV Rider At Rio Linda Crossroads

An ATV rider was killed Saturday night after a pickup truck crashed into the quad at 16th Street and Elverta Road near Rio Linda. The collision was reported around 8:19 p.m., and the rider was thrown from the vehicle and later died at the scene.
