By Sara Beth Williams– — A commercial semi truck hauling walnuts overturned Tuesday night on eastbound Interstate 80 near Antelope Road, prompting an emergency response from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District and the Citrus Heights Police Department.
According to Metro Fire, crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m. and arrived to find the truck on its side with diesel fuel leaking from the vehicle.
Firefighters worked to secure the scene, contain the fuel spill and address additional hazards to the roadway and surrounding area, the fire district said…
