(FOX40.COM) — A man convicted of multiple armed robberies outside retail stores has been sentenced to 251 years to life in state prison, according to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
The DA’s office said that William Ellis was sentenced on Friday after being found guilty on seven counts of robbery and felony evasion.
Prosecutors reported that a jury convicted Ellis on April 22 and also found true that he personally used a firearm during each of the robberies. Additional aggravating factors and prior strike convictions were also found true following a bench trial, officials said…
