(FOX40.COM) — Officers with the West Sacramento Police Department arrested a local resident after recovering multiple illegal firearms and controlled substances during the service of a search warrant.
West Sacramento police said patrol officers developed information during routine patrol operations regarding a resident suspected of illegally possessing firearms and narcotics.
Following an investigation, officers — assisted by the department’s investigations division — served a search warrant at the residence, where authorities said they located several illegal firearms and illegal controlled substances.
