A Brighton man faces charges after police said he shot at a couple’s vehicle in St. Louis on May 17. 19-year-old Anthony Lee-Armstrong faces two counts of first-degree assault, four counts of armed criminal action, one count of first-degree property damage and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
The shooting took place at Russell Boulevard and South Jefferson Avenue. A police statement said the man and woman were driving with their 2-year-old child when a black Honda sedan cut them off. They followed the Honda and an accompanying Volkswagen into a gas station parking lot. The man confronted the drivers about the incident, then left. The suspects allegedly followed the couple, at times driving into oncoming traffic to keep up.
