St. Louis man sentenced for carjackings, fatal fentanyl sale

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Bobby Lee Jones, 27, of St. Louis was sentenced to 47 years in prison Thursday for his involvement in carjackings, as well as a sale of fentanyl that killed an 18-year-old woman.

Jones pleaded guilty to one count of carjacking in December and admitted to driving his 18-year-old nephew, Labron Collins, and a juvenile with him to the carjacking.

Jones was charged in January with one count of distribution of fentanyl that resulted in death. Trial evidence indicated that he sold fentanyl to an 18-year-old woman in 2023 that resulted in her death…
