Spotty storms again Sunday, widespread storms overnight into Monday

ST. LOUIS – Scattered storms continue moving east into our viewing area Sunday afternoon. The coverage of showers and storms may continue to increase as well. A few storms may be strong to severe with large hail and gusty winds the concern.

Where it’s not raining, there’s a mix of clouds and sunshine and temperatures are anywhere from the low 70s (northeast) to the low 80s (southwest). If storms develop, a few could be on the stronger side with gusty winds and hail the concern.

Widespread rain and storms are likely overnight through early Monday morning. This could impact the morning commute.

After storms move out Monday morning the rest of the day will be mostly dry. There’s a chance a few storms redevelop later in the day, but Monday won’t be a washout. Highs on Monday in the mid 80s…
