Gin Room owner says she’s not going anywhere following vandalism

ST. LOUIS – An arrest has been made after four consecutive nights of vandalism targeting businesses on South Grand. Police say a 27-year-old man is in custody as detectives work to determine whether he’s connected to multiple incidents.

According to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson, officers were canvassing the area overnight after reports of vandalism when they located and arrested the suspect. Police are presenting the Circuit Attorney’s Office with the case for potential charges.

Investigators say the same suspect is believed to be responsible for two separate vandalism incidents at Steve’s Hot Dogs earlier this week and are now working to determine whether he’s also responsible for the damage at the Gin Room…
