ALTON — A tour of the Mel Price Lock and Dam as part of FreightWeekSTL, an annual conference put on by St. Louis Regional Freightway, the transportation and logistics arm of the Bi-State Development Agency, emphasized the infrastructure necessary to keep people and products moving.
“This year for FreightWeek we’re really focusing on global access and how collaboration with all these public and private sector leaders are helping us,” said Mary Lamie, executive vice president of Multimodal Enterprises for Bi-State, before the start of the tour.
