ST. LOUIS – A man linked to three recent break-ins at A&M Cyclery, a south St. Louis bike shop, is now behind bars on felony charges.
On Friday, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office charged Ladarold Ford, 47, of St. Louis, with 10 felonies and one misdemeanor, including:
- Three counts of stealing ($750 or more)
- Three counts of second-degree burglary
- Three counts of second-degree property damage
- One count of stealing (less than $750)
- One count of unlawful firearm possession by a prior felon
The charges stem from three break-ins at A&M Cyclery, located at 4284 Arsenal Street, on May 24, June 5 and June 10. Owners say the three break-ins resulted in at least six bicycles stolen, including multiple e-bikes.
According to a St. Louis police probable cause statement, Ford broke a business window on May 24 and June 5 to enter the store and steal bicycles. He also returned on June 10, removing a board to steal two additional bicycles…
