St. Louis is getting its first retail store from one of the most pioneering names in modern design – Herman Miller. Located at 32 Maryland Plaza in the heart of the Central West End, Herman Miller St. Louis is set to open on Friday, July 3, ahead of the busy holiday weekend.
The 1700-square-foot retail showroom will provide a dedicated experience of Herman Miller’s approach to modern living, and the company’s award-winning product portfolio, including the iconic Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman; the Aeron Chair by Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick; Cosm, Mirra 2, and Setu Chairs by Studio 7.5; and the Embody Chair by Bill Stumpf and Jeff Weber, in addition to Herman Miller gaming products and its ergonomic seating collection.
“The layout includes performance seating, workspace, gaming, and designs for living spaces. Visitors will be able to test and compare the different features of our performance seating products, like the Aeron and Embody chairs, all backed by decades of ergonomic research and developed to support long-lasting, health-positive benefits,” says Debbie Propst, president, global retail, for Herman Miller. “We’ll also provide complimentary design services for people shopping for their living spaces, embarking on a home renovation, or outfitting a small business.”…
