WENTZVILLE, Mo. — Gioia’s Deli, a century-old St. Louis sandwich shop known for its hot salami, plans to add its sixth location.
The Wentzville Board of Aldermen signed off May 27 on plans for a three-tenant retail building along Wentzville Parkway that is expected to include Gioia’s Deli, marking the first location for the brand in the fast-growing western St. Charles County city.
The proposed deli will occupy part of a 4,800-square-foot building at 1066 Wentzville Parkway, near the intersection with Meyer Road. The project also includes a Swig soda shop with a drive-thru and prepared-meal concept Benefit Meals, according to plans submitted to the city. They say the “prospective tenants” are in negotiations…
