ST. LOUIS — An unfounded kidnapping report led to a multi-county police chase overnight.
St. Louis police public affairs director Mitch McCoy said an officer was flagged down near the intersection of South Kingshighway Boulevard and Chippewa Street and told of a possible kidnapping involving a black Chevrolet Impala. When officers found the car, it sped off.
