ST. LOUIS – A north St. Louis County man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday for two separate shooting and robbery incidents in 2024 and 2025.
According to the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri, 22-year-old Ken’vonte R. Bownes, of Spanish Lake, pleaded guilty to two cases.
Bownes was charged with first-degree robbery and one count of first-degree assault. In a plea agreement Thursday, he pled guilty to the charges in exchange for an armed criminal action charge being dropped from a “violent home invasion” in July 2024.
