Just this week, Stray Rescue of St. Louis stepped up to save the life of a tiny blue and tan French bulldog puppy named Bumblebee. The puppy suffered from a left side femoral neck fracture – Her femur was broken and no longer connected to her pelvis.
The puppy had arrived at a local shelter, but because of their lack of funds, the puppy had been placed on the euthanasia list. Just the thought of the puppy being euthanized, prompted the staff and the thousands of Stray Rescue of St. Louis supporters to organize a fundraising campaign for her surgery.
Meet Bumblebee. She arrived at the organization’s hospital where veterinarians examined her and determined this injury could be repaired at their clinic.
